True Irishman Kieran Fahy came up with the idea of asking the Belgian jazzman Jacques Pirotton to work with him at a musical training course he was due to give at Virton in Belgium.
At this unlikely musical encounter, Kieran was won over by the musicality and originality of Jacques’ interpretation of the repertoire chosen for the performance that evening, whish comprised dances (jigs and reels), ballads and the music of Turlough O’Carolan.
