Description

This CD contains ten compositions, 9 of which are previously unreleased originals. Marie-Sophie Talbot sings and plays the piano, Philippe Laloy plays alto and soprano saxophones, along with flute and bass flute, and Frédéric Malempré handles the percussion.
The music is both melodic and rhythmic, mixing jazz with the sounds of world and classical music. A significant part of the music is improvised. This music effortlessly blends humor with poetry. It is music fit for a dream, as with film music. Nine of the tracks are originals, the other is a cover of the Horace Silver tune Safari, as a tribute to the jazz created by this legendary pianist and composer.
